The beginning of this lifelike doll was in 2007. With the dreams of Mr. Chaiyan Thotead who was a doll collector since he was very young. He stated from the dinosaurs, LEGO, Gundams ( Japanese Action Figure), GI Joe, Babies , Japanese action fiqures, and some Disney Toys. Thotead started his challenge project by drawing picture and hiring specialists to sculpture his very first dolls. Finally with his friend’s help, he got to learn and make his fabulous doll himself. Thotead has many projects that he’s planning now. Each doll theme has to be planned carefully about the face style, costume, decorations, face paint, wig hairstyle and colors using in overall picture for that theme. For instance,
a theme “Chinese Opera” he has to do some research about some histories of people, the costumes details, getting more inspiration from the real Chinese Opera Play on the Chinese New ’s Year or from some films that are related to the theme. He also does a hard research of the colors painting on the face, symbols, and feelings. Then, started to make a doll face sculpt form the referenced face he needs to put on his working project. This will take time 5-10 days to make everything in a complete sculpt. Making a rough sketch of the costume, accessories, and the headpiece of the character by consulting with someone he knows of how possible it is to blend and mix everything together. These are such a challenging thing that he feels excited to do from what he has seen and experienced. Once when he has the finished head sculpt, he will make a mold and then cast it into the porcelain slip. Then Thotead start painting. The painting really needs some special tricks and high skills. Luckily, he can paint and has a deep sense of blending colors. This is a really gifted skill that he applies using painting with the doll face paint. However, the porcelain colors are unlike the acrylic colors that the artists have to fire the doll by using the kiln after painting at least 2-6 times with a proper temperature of each specific color!

n a time when nouvelle cuisine took center stage in the 1980s, Chef Robuchon revolutionised the global culinary scene with his almost bourgeois French haute cuisine where he pursued absolute perfection and focused on using only the best cooking equipment to flesh out the original flavours of the freshest, highest quality produce. Robuchon was first recognised for his culinary brilliance at age 28 when he received the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France, the Outstanding French Craftsman award. fter I spent 3 days walked around Paris, I made my trip to Provence on TGV high speed train. Provence is a region of south eastern France on the Mediterranean adjacent to Italy. This region includes Provence-Alpes-Coted’Azur: Hautes Alpes, Alpes Maritimes, Alpes de Haute Provence, Var, Vaucluse and Brouches du Rhone. I will stay at Aix-en-Provence, the capital city of the region. The high speed rocket train, TGV only takes me 3 hours from Paris to Aix, the capital city of Provence. This town dragged me into the past, time of Medieval Europe. Right here, the art of Renaissance is every where. The buildings were inspired by Renaissance architecture especially the curved façade and decoration. After I arrived my room, I didn’t waste my first evening. I went out to meet with cold weather and the warmth in the last hour of sunlight. My first stop is La Rotonde, the circle fountain in the heart of Aix. The La Rotonde was built in 1860. The diameter of the fountain is 30 meters. There 3 sculpture of 3 beautiful women stand face out to 3 different directions. The first one face to Merseille, land of plentiful agriculture. The second beauty face to Avignon, land of fine art and the last beauty face to Aix, which is relate to judiciary of justice and here is France’s the most important school of law. It is
very normal to see a hundred students carrying book down the street. Maybe I can see Thai students here. From the circle fountain I can see the main road named “The Cours Mirabeau” with many big maple trees on both side of the road. This road is wide enough for two lanes so it is two ways road. The Cours Mirabeau has a floor made from rocks just like in Medieval Europe. I rarely see small taxi for 6 pas-

sengers on this road. For the visitor that doesn’t want to walk, the small taxi is the best choice to see the wonderful of Aix. The small taxi is suitable for any roads of the classic town of Aix and it shows a very good idea to reduce global warming because it doesn’t use fuel but electric energy. Here are 2 routes for city sightseeing. The short sightseeing is A route and the long sightseeing is B route. They both cost just 50 cent.

here are many lovely handicraft shops. One of the out standing identity of France is many out door restaurants and cafes with pleasant atmosphere. I think French people spends most of the winter time inside the building. So when the sunshine comes, they all come out to eat and sip in the warmth of the sunlight. I walk to small alley. It is so fantastic because I see many small fountains along my way. This is why Aix got the special cognomen as “city of the Thousand fountains”. Each fountain has different design. Some made from carved stone. some has been through many hundreds years and look like stone more than a foundtain because they are covered by taacrgngm. Water from some fountain in Aix is safe to drink. I see Aix’s dweller and travelers stop by at some fountain to get drinking water. Moreover the fountains can be the graceful meeting point especially for the lovers. I see many of them sit beside fountain, such a beautiful picture that I’ll never forget.
A small alley leads me to the big fountain square with big clock tower. Under the clock tower is the stone facade to Hotel de Ville. Hotel de Ville is not hotel like general but it is the town hall of Aix. The interesting of this place is on the clock tower. It is the sculptures of lovely people. They get their clothe change every season. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8.00am12.30pm flower, vegetable and fruit markets at the square are available for everyone. It is one of French tradition to always decorate their house to make their place look lively with colorful flowers. I really think this tradition is so adorable. Not to far from Hotel de Ville, both side of the closest road is full with lovely souvenir shops. They have very impressive products such as lace embroidery,

olive oil, lavender oil and dried lavender. The remarkable cosmetic brands, L’Occitane and Durance are made in Provence and also sold in this road of Aix. The good thing is if you buy them here, the cost is a lot lower than in Asia. I don’t need to walk in the shop to smell lavender oil. The smell comes to me and get me feel the sense of relaxation. Lavender odor is used to help patience with Insomnia. Just few drops of lavender oil can put you into deeply sleep. La Cigale, carved wood of cicada is believed to bring good luck to its owner. So if you come to France don’t forget to buy your friends some of them. With my good eyesight, I find many post cards and oil painting canvases in impressionism style. They are all by Paul Cezanne, the World-renowned artist who born in Aix and spends time of his life around Provence to draw many fabulous picture of this charming region. His art exhibition always gets attention from people around the world. The beauty of Provence has come to the World’s vision because of his paintbrush. Beside Cezanne, there are many famous artists of the world spent time in Provence to create their artwork such as Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh and Picasso. Most of their artworks were inspired by sierra, river, house, and way of lives in Provence. We can say that their artwork came of the soul of Provence. At Cathedral Saint-Sauveur, the biggest church of Aix I walk in and take pictures without using flash to show my respect to the priests. After my walk around the city of thousand fountains, I want to recommend 2 tasty eatery houses. The first is the most popular of Aix from La Rotonde fountain. This place is very attractive on the main road. les Deux garcons, they have variety of beverage, appetizer and main dish. The second eatery house is Paul, the bakery house. It is really special because they run this house since 1889 or 122 years. The taste of their bakery is ambrosial. Paul always crowded with numerous customers every hour of every day. De Macarons is recommended baked of Aix. It goes well with your hot tea. However my favorite bake is so simple, cinnamon roll. I can’t forget how soft and sweet it is.
