FLYDUBAI AIRLINE LAUNCHS FLIGHTS TO KRABI AND YANGON Flydubai, a world-class airline in the world, has engaged a plan to expand its network to Southeast Asia region. STAR ALLIANCE AND NEC PARTNER UP FOR BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION TO USE IN AIRLINE Star Alliance and NEC Corporation, both leading global company with interests in IT, network and biometric technologies, has an agreement to sign a contract of partnership for a biometric data-based facial identification development for airlines. Takashi Niino, president and CEO of NEC Corporation stated that Facial recognition will be useful for airline industry, and it will provide the most convenience to the customer when passing the gate point, it just authorizes only scan a face by using biometric data.
