Graphic Design T-Shirt Mock Ups
Logo T-shirt Design
Here are the mock ups I did for the project and I changed it by wrapping the ribbon across the skull and did a different font and made the rose.
For this project I was asked to make anything I wanted for a Graphic Design T-Shirt. I had to include the name “Graphic Design” and “Skills USA” or the logo. First, I had to make an inspiration board (20 images all together, then start making the design. After we had an idea we went up to present it getting feedback from the audience, after we fixed and cleaned up the design we finally put it on a T-Shirt, and the final step was finish it in Photoshop and use the design in the background. I found two vintage backgrounds and combined them together then made my design white and angled it.
Movie Poster Description
This was another design exercise from my teachers list. I had to create any kind of movie poster I wanted. The idea was to minimize the detail and make it simple. I chose to do Twilight because I love the movies, and I did a silhouette of Bella and Edward in illustrator, then put the book cover in the back, using Photoshop and I went to get a dark gray overlay and blended it with the book cover, to have some type of texture in the back.
Typeography Description Here is a poster of one word of my choosing to put into different sizes in Photoshop. The background is of a picture of my choice. I then added another texture and blurred them both out, also in Photoshop.
Design Quote Description
My teacher created designer exercises for extra credit, and for something to do if we get done with our current project. I decided to do the quote “Art is not what you see but what you make others see, by Edgar Degas. I love art and this quote reminds me of myself. I combined two pictures from the internet on Photoshop and blended them to make it look like it was a galaxy in the forest for creativity.
Fallen Angel Description This drawing is something I did for fun one day when I was in my AP Art class. I really wanted to show that I could make a fallen angel that is slowly losing her wings, like a young woman who is depressed and slowly loosing herself, and the birds represent that they feel her pain, like her friends close to her want to help. I want the viewer to look at this drawing and think for the meaning in their own words.
Principles Of Design Description
For this project I had to pick any kind of object I wanted (had to be a silhouette) and use it for the Principles of Design. I chose a rose because it’s my favorite flower and then went in Illustrator to use the pen tool to create it. It was required that for each Principle that I had to make the rose go with each one. I also had to choose a quote for this project related to the object we chose. “But he who dares not grasp the thorn, should never crave the rose,” by Anne Bronte. All this was done between Adobe Illusrator and Photoshop.
Jack Frost & Elsa Decription This is something I just came up with, and I wanted to combine two Disney characters I thought would look good together. So, I did Jack Frost and Elsa, I wanted to make them pop off the page so I did the background in sharpie and used colored pencil for the shading.
Realism Description
This is a project I did in my art class and the point was to choose my favorite celebrity and draw the other half of their face realistically, and I chose to do Josh Hutcherson known as Peeta in Hunger games. I used a #2 pencil to do the shading.
Under the Sea Description
I had a client ask me to design her a tattoo that was under the sea. She specifically wanted a sea turtle, dolphin, sea urchin, a sun set, and sea weed. She wanted me to design it however I wanted as long as the six requirements were there. So, I did some research on what a sunset would look like. The client wanted it rounded because it would end up on her stomach. After I showed her she got it.
Charcole Self Portrait Descpriton For an assignment in my AP Art class I had to make a drawing of the side of someone’s face only using black and white charcoal. White had to be for the light shaded parts of the image we took from, the black to make the darker shade from the image. We had a shading tool that we could use so I had a better time of making the self-portrait.
Personal Logo Inspiration Board
Color Idenity Personal Logo I was asked to make my own personal logo, it could be anything I wanted, but before any of this I had to make an inspiration board. I decided to do something with roses and use my own font in the middle. I had a color scheme to go with it as well. I used illustrator to make the ‘B’ and the roses around it using the paint brush tool, I made the colored portion have a water color effect. After that was finished we had to use our logo for branding and identity. Below is my identity, branding imagery, typography, and inspiration board.
