1970’s 1960’s
From Marilyn Monroe and "Midnight Cowboy" all the way to Larry Mahan’s sought-a er line of cowboy boots, Hyer bridged the silver screen and Western culture, becoming a cultural icon and a part of the fabric of an era.
The Hyer family lost the company, and by 1988, the last HYER boot sold. However, the legend of HYER Boots endured.
1900’s 1875
Worn by legends of the west like Teddy Roosevelt, Bu alo Bill Cody, and even outlaws like Billy the Kid, Hyer became the standard for those who shaped the west.
CH Hyer forged a symbol of the west, inventing the cowboy boot.
1950’s 1890’s
The famous HYER Elite was introduced, which became the go-to boot for rodeo athletes for decades.
Hyer introduced the rst mail order catalog for boots and became the largest boot factory in the United States, cra ing 500 boots a week.
THE TRADITION LIVES ON
In 1875, C.H. Hyer made the original cowboy boot in Olathe, Kansas. The Hyer family continues that legacy today, making long-lasting cowboy boots you can depend on, because everything depends on you.
