Reminder: Gaeta Drinking Water Declared Non-Potable Drinking water at Gaeta Fleet Landing and Olde Mill Inn is declared non-potable and not fit for consumption. All affected are advised to use bottled water for drinking, food preparation, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and feeding pets. For more information, contact the U.S. Naval Hospital Preventive Medicine office at DSN: 629-6299 or 081811-6299. Possible Delays Anticipated at Base Entrances Security personnel will be utilizing vehicle denial barriers randomly at the entry control gates of the bases. This could result in delays at entrances to the installations, so please plan accordingly. For safety concerns, drivers are reminded to clearly follow the gate guard’s instructions while entering installations. Mirrors Installed at Capodichino Back Gate Due to safety concerns, installation of mirrors at the back gate at Capo has been completed. One mirror is positioned right outside the gate so that drivers coming out of the base can see if there are vehicles going by, while another one has been installed right at the corner of the fuel firm so that vehicles driving from both directions can see the blind corner.
