Community Center and Farmers Market Given the opportunity to design a Whole Foods right next to North M a r k e t , a w e l l - k n o w n h i s t o r i c a l a n d c u l t u ra l f a r m e r ’ s m a r k e t , m u c h thought had to go into how one would affect the other’s business and i d e n t i t y . Pu b l i c s p a c e i s e s s e n t i a l i n a n y u r b a n e n v i ro n m e n t , p ro v i d i n g v i s i t o r s w i t h a p l a c e t o i n t e ra c t w i t h o n e a n o t h e r , e n j o y o u t d o o r s p a c e , a n d e v e n h o l d e v e n t s fo r t h e c o m m u n i t y .
