The firststepincuttingcarbon emissionsis to stop thefederal governmentfrom giving approximately30bn annually to thefossil fuelindustry. We alsoneed to holdbigpolluters accountable fortheirclimate impacts.

We need to put more publicmoneyintosecuring affordablehousing. We also needtoreducethe hypercommodification of housing through stronger regulations aroundinternational speculations andReal Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

By building aresilient local economythrough supportinglocal businesses andagricultureand removingbarriers to market. Incentivizing local businesses will helpbring stabilityto our regionaleconomy, allowingsecurityinthe face of turbulence.

Astraight-talking Canadianwho camefrom Iran in ’89, earneda PhDin computerscience, built asoftware company, and found his voiceduringthepandemic. Passionate aboutfreedom, land, andtruth—unafraid to challenge poweranddefend principle.

Canada wentfrom an export-drivenoileconomyto subsidizing unprofitable green ventures. We’vebankrupteda resource-rich nation. The real questionisn’t carbon—it’s how to unleash oureconomyand restoreprosperityfor thenext generation.

We’d target0% inflationand cut federal redtapetoreduce housing’s role asan inflation hedge. We’d open Crownland withprovincestoboost supply, andease demand by placinga moratoriumonimmigration.

We’d get to thetable and securethebest short-term dealpossible, then buildup our natural resources, rebuild manufacturing—andwork to bringbacksmall businesses thatfledtolower-tax jurisdictions.

Howwould your government advanceTruthand Reconciliationwith FirstNations?

ImplementtheTRCcalls to action, andsupportindigenous ledhealingprojects.Work inpartnership to closethe infrastructureandservicegap thatindigenouspeoplesface. Continue to buildatrusted relationshipwiththe First Nationsin my riding.

Endorseandimplementthe FirstNationsResource Charge. GiveIndigenousgroups the option to replaceOttawa’s top-down control by ceding tax roomon resourceprojects, allowing local communities to use therevenueasthey choose.

We’llimplement all94TRC Calls to Action;fullyfund healing, language &culture programs;ensure clean water &housing;end discriminatory child welfare; &support Indigenous-ledsolutions in justice,health,education& governance.

By addressing theissues withinour children andfamily services andpenal system that aredisproportionately impactingindigenous peoples. We alsoneed to facilitatethehealing of the multigenerationaltrauma and supportexpansion oflanguage andculture.

Reconciliation starts with honesty. When government violates rightsand courts defer, thepeopleget blamed. We’d startbyholding officials accountable—beginning with cuttingpensions forthose who abused their power.
