In an age of frequent wars, Beethoven nevertheless managed to express through music the noble ideals of a true, all-embracing love. This love is conceived at the price of trials in life, of forgiveness, sacrifices and redemption, a eulogy of eternal hope. It has become a sublimity that has nourished countless souls over the world, and continues to inspire those who have lost faith in their beliefs, bestowing on all the power to disregard the malice around us and to return the love without hesitance.
