Movies are in our blood. We’ve been making them in our idyllic location for more than half a century, and our enthusiasm, experience and skills had defined us to be one of the most important film studios in Europe. Drawing on the rich history of film production at the magnificent Bulgarian State-owned Boyana Film Studios, established in 1962, we’ve since expanded and developed this palace to be a place for creativity and movie excellence, located just ten minutes from Sofia, our capital city. Now we are owned by one of the longest-running independent film companies in Hollywood, Nu Image and Millennium Films, and over the years we’ve hosted the production of 180 feature films, including big-budget movies like 300: The The Rise Of An Empire, Olympus Has Fallen, The Black Dahlia, Killing Season, The Expendables 1, 2 and 3, Conan, The Way Back and Kon-Tiki.
