A complete retrofit underfloor heating pack for single areas, suitable for kitchens, wet rooms, extensions, conservatories and rooms with lower levels of insulation LoPro™Max is an underfloor heating system that has been specifically designed as a solution for renovation projects and areas that need a higher heat output due to large areas of glazing or lower levels of insulation. With just 22mm height build-up, LoPro™Max is laid directly over the
existing floor with minimal disruption to fittings. A LoPro™Max OneZone pack includes everything you need to install underfloor heating in a single area from start to finish – including the correct amount of specialist self-levelling compound for the project.

✓ engineered timber LoPro™QuickSet leaves a perfectly level finish LoPro™QuickSet is included with every LoPro™Max system. This specialist self-levelling compound has been carefully selected to provide the perfect combination of strength, viscosity and finish. It also levels uneven floors, providing a new level surface that is a perfect base for ceramic tiles or high quality stone finishes.
The low surface temperature of underfloor heating presents no problem with carpet, engineered timber and vinyl floor coverings. Where carpets are chosen, it is recommended that the combined value of carpet and underlays does not exceed 2.5-tog, in order to maintain the efficiency of the underfloor heating.

A floor-temperature limiting thermostat is supplied as standard to be used where sensitive material such as vinyl, linoleum and engineered timber, which have a maximum floor temperature of 27˚C, are chosen.

Installation sequence for LoPro™Max OneZone
1 Repair/level existing floors and seal any gaps
4 Cover the floor with the self-adhesive castellated panel
2 Place edge isolation strip around the sides of the room
5 Lay the Fastflo™ floor heating tube
7 Mix and pour the LoPro™QuickSet compound over the castellated panel
6 Connect Fastflo™ tube to the Optiflo manifold and pressure test
8 After 72 hours, lay the final floor finish
3 Place battens in any doorways
Controlling room temperature & timings Nu-Heat’s LoPro™Max OneZone provides two alternative ways of controlling the times at which warmth is available in the room. OPTION 1 Connect to existing radiator system LoPro™Max can be simply connected to an existing radiator system and use the existing heating timer as its master control. With this option, the thermostat supplied with the system will be able to call for heat in the room during the times set
on the master control. The underfloor heating will switch off when the correct temperature is reached within these times. Because the system offers response times that are equivalent to a radiator, this method of control is ideal for LoPro™Max.
OPTION 2 Bypass the existing system controls It is also possible to bypass any existing heating controls so that LoPro™Max can operate independently. This option is more suitable for large rooms or new extensions where independent control of the heating is preferred.
