towel rails To complement the Nu-Heat underfloor heating system and EnergyMaster™ cylinder package, Nu-Heat introduces its stunning new contemporary range of 100% stainless steel heated towel rails. Nu-Heat always recommends that heated towel rails are used in addition to warm water underfloor heating – they give the luxury of warm dry towels all year round and add extra warmth and comfort to bathrooms. Nu-Heat towel rails are manufactured in stainless steel as this has significant advantages over traditional chrome rails which cannot be used on a domestic water circuit. It will not rust or flake, is easy to clean and totally hygienic. All towel rails are produced from over 90% recycled, 304 grade metal, are manufactured environmentally and are themselves 100% recyclable. Small marks or scratches can be polished out to maintain high surface quality over many years. Each towel rail is manufactured with standard 1/2“ BSP tappings and is pressure tested to 12 Bar. We have such confidence in the high standard of manufacture that Nu-Heat towel rails are guaranteed for 25 years.
Towel rails can be installed directly off the boiler; alternatively, one of the most successful installation methods is to fit it directly onto an Aquastar™ hot water loop. Aquastar™ is a small bronze pump with built-in timer that circulates warm water from the cylinder under the domestic hot water draw off points. As soon as the tap is opened, instant domestic hot water is provided, no matter the distance from the cylinder. Towel rails are simply plumbed into this circuit meaning that they can work independently of the heating – particularly useful in the summer. In addition, towel rails on this circuit are at domestic hot water temperature rather than full boiler temperature preventing any risk of scalding. All models can, of course, be fitted directly onto a standard radiator circuit.
