CURRENT SCHEME
SICHUAN VALLEY :
The location of this project is just in the edge of the last city ring.

Connect the project with the old city town and the current educational district by a pedestrian, public transport and a bike friendly corridor along the Jing Jang river.

The water axis will work as a cleaning system using wetlands and the existing sewage treatment plant, as well as the east-west axis will do cleaning the air. Contributing to the mitigation of CO2 emissions a complete System of filters is propoused as well as pedestrian and alternative transport system path, with the perspective of opening the infrastructure making it visible
2_URBAN STRATEGY :
This corridor continues to the south with the intention of leading the future city growth.

The campus is also planned to work as a public activity centre always linked with the context by proposing an extended green network which will boost the pedestrian activity.

FUTURE GROWTH SCHEME
Talking about the building, the design was developed by taking the provided module of 66 x 66 m and dividing it by 6. The new unit sizes 11 x 11 m. Then the new unit follows a two-ring path which becomes a bridge among the river, both sides of the city and the island. This urban connection houses the new faculty: the library, the lecture hall, a research department and four degrees; Landscape architecture, Urban planning, Arts and Architecture. The design was determined by taking care about the visual continuity, do not interrupt the current landscape line but offering urban programme to encourage the planned open air network. Following with this statement, the building allows to see through from side to side respecting also the riverbed.
