Lombard Code Enforcement Coordinator

CODE ENFORCEMENT COORDINATOR The Village of Lombard is seeking a full-time Code Enforcement Coordinator in our Community Development Department. Essential duties include: , coordinates the daily field and office activities of Code Enforcement Officers and Seasonal Interns and administer activities associated with the Division’s utilization of the Village’s Administrative Adjudication program. The successful candidate will have the ability to read municipal codes and possess good communication and computer skills. The ability to successfully problem solve and collaboratively work with property owners is essential. Requires an Associate’s Degree, plus three to five years of experience in a related field with supervisory and/or code enforcement caseload management experience preferred or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge skills and abilities for this job. Must obtain International Code Council certification for “Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector” within one year of employment. This position is covered under a collective bargaining unit agreement. Starting salary range for this position is $51,041-$70,284, with a starting salary of up to $59,974, DOQ.
