The determination is that this structure is declared Substantially Damaged and must be brought into compliance with the DuPage County County-wide Stormwater and Flood Plain Ordinance, and Village of Lisle local amendments (code section 5-16-4) prior to repair and re-occupancy. For this structure to be in compliance with the ordinance, the structure must be elevated and the basement or crawl space filled in; moved outside the floodplain; or demolished, and a floodplain ordinance-compliant structure may be built in its place. Building inspections, building permits and an Elevation Certificate will be required prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy.
