Collection arrangements are different from last year
Pesach collection service 2020
A Pesach refuse service will be in operation at houses on 300+ pre-designated roads, making it simple for residents to dispose of Pesach refuse and Chometz before Passover. You can check if you live on a pre-designated road by visiting www.barnet.gov.uk/pesach-collection . Please note that the council is working to minimise disruption to services during the COVID-19 outbreak, however these arrangements are subject to change and any updates will be available at www.barnet.gov.uk/pesach-collection
Pre-designated roads If your normal collection day is... Tuesday 7 April or Wednesday 8 April, your collection arrangements are as follows: Your refuse bin collection will take place as scheduled. In addition to emptying your refuse bin, a maximum of three sacks of Pesach waste per household will be collected on your normal collection day. Collections will take place from 6am from the boundary of your property. If your normal collection day is... Thursday 9 April, your collection arrangements are as follows: Your refuse bin and a maximum of three sacks of Pesach waste per household will be collected on Tuesday 7 April. Your normal refuse bin collection will also take place as scheduled on Thursday 9 April. Collections will take place from 6am from the boundary of your property. If your normal refuse collection day is... Friday 10 April, your collection arrangements are as follows: Your refuse bin and a maximum of three sacks of Pesach waste per household will be collected on Wednesday 8 April. Your normal refuse bin collection will also take place as scheduled on Friday 10 April.
Non-designated roads Your refuse bin collection will take place as scheduled. A pre-bookable collection of a maximum of three refuse sacks to take place on Wednesday 8 April can be requested by emailing pesach@ barnet.gov.uk or calling 020 8359 4600 from 9am on Friday 27 March until 10am on Friday 3 April. We will only collect your refuse sacks on this day, we will not be emptying your bin. Collections will take place from 6am from the boundary of your property.
