Hey Hawks! We're in the final stretch of the Key Club term! This means we have Candidate Training Conference and Elections coming up! Now is the time to set up the legacy that is our 2017-2018 board. Also, remember to remain vigilant in community service! Look forward to Dance Marathon and Relay for Life, some of our biggest events of the year. I hope to see everyone on Election Day!

Long time, no newsletter! I apologize for the twomonth hiatus, but your editor is back and ready to continue making newsletters for you! With so much for our club ahead of us, I'm happy to say we're ending this term on a good note. Elections are coming and I can't wait to see who the new board will consist of! I'm also excited for the next term, with the new Region 5 realignment, we are now the Division 28 West Moons! Also, with Dance Marathon less than a month away, Youth Making Change and I are preparing for an amazing day for all of you. Feel free to contact me, Sheila, or Josh if you have any questions about the event!

Super Recycling
at The UNLV Thomas & Mack Center
Chloe Tabayoyong | Freshman
The Super Recycling service project at UNLV was pretty cool. My responsibilities were directing traffic, answering incoming peoples' question, and organizing paper documents for shredding. Although, it kind of got a little boring after a while, since you didn't see your friends so much, and you're pretty much burning in the sun. Overall, this is a great service project if you're looking for some easy volunteer hours!
Jessica Cen | Freshman
For the super recycling event, I was with Chloe and another girl. We helped out with conducting with two lanes that led to shredding or recycling, so that it won't be disastrous.
DATE: March 4, 2017 TIME: 12 PM-8PM LOCATION: UNLV Student Union THEME: “I Feel Like Pablo” Northwest CTA has almost 150 attendees! • Registration begins at 11 AM. • Pay the $10 fee at the event, where you will receive a Dance Marathon T-Shirt and a meal from Panda Express! • You must have a Media Release Form signed by a parent or guardian. Contact Jayden, Sheila, or Josh if you have any questions about the event!
CONCLAVE at liberty high school
Brianna Abagat |Division 28 West Lt. Governor Candidate Serving on the Division Leadership Team inspired me to run for Lt. Governor. I was determined to become something bigger and to do more. Preparing for Conclave was very stressful. With the support of the amazing people in my life, they motivated me to push through this. I met so many wonderful and supportive people at Conclave. Although I didn't win, I'm proud of myself for trying. I never thought that I would go for a position so high. Knowing that I gave my all is all that matters.
Leah Mazzola | Northwest CTA Key Club Conclave Delegate This year was my first year going to Conclave and it was quite the experience. There were three people running for the Division 28 West LTG. Each speech was exceptional and inspiring to see each person's dedication to Key Club. Being a delegate, I really feel like I contributed to the foundation of our new division. As well as electing an LTG, we got to choose our new division mascot! I'm so happy we are now the Moons and I can't wait to see all the new cheers and spirit gear that goes with it! Now that our new LTG is Richie Paek, I wish him the best of luck and hope he can make our new division feel like a family. I can't wait to start working with our new division and continue on this Key Club journey.
with the realignment, we are now the Division 28 West
