Editor’s Note Spring at long last! What a difference a couple of weeks can make in the Pacific Northwest. We were just digging the snow boots back out of the closet again and now here we are dusting off our sandals and basking in the sun! With spring break behind us, we are in the final sprint toward summer break. Spring is always the busiest time of year for parents. Between spring concerts, fun runs, sporting events and field trips, our April and May calendars seem to fill up quickly. Now is the time to plan for summer break! This is the second of three consecutive Summer Camp Guides in NW Kids. This month we are covering Arts & Crafts camps, General camps, Outdoor Sports & Rock Climbing camps and Special Needs camps. Keep an eye out for our May issue as well, where we will continue to show you all of the best camps in the Portland area, and don’t forget to head to our website to see our complete camp rundown! Cheers,

Mary
