Editor’s Note 2020, and all of its challenges and gifts, has finally come to a close. While the changing of the year does not magically take away all that we’re experiencing as we continue to deal with the pandemic and the financial hardships that have arisen as a result, I still welcome the symbolic turning of the calendar page. This year has brought unimaginable change to the way that all of our families operate on a day to day basis. We’ve seen many of our favorite businesses close their doors for good while almost all of the remaining businesses drastically changed their business model with the ever-evolving mandates. NW Kids is no exception. We moved to a digital-only format in the spring and will remain with this model until it’s safe and practical to distribute throughout the region. We can’t wait to return to print and let you know about all of the best events and activities that we can find! In the meantime, we will continue to pivot and to support one another and our communities in the best ways that we can. May 2021 bring your families health, peace and kindness. Cheers,

Mary
