Constructed with design & build method, this project was accomplished in 1 year+ although it was during COVID period. Stand on a 227 acres land, the campus accommodates education buildings, admin block, library, sports arena, and student dorms which facilitates for 20,000 students altogether.

(Phase 2) Guangzhou, China

Phase 2 of Guangdong Baiyun University was part of the continuation of the campus masterplan which accommodates extra 15,000 students. The Phase 2 consists of a library, an education building, and extension of student dorms. The whole masterplan design was connected with a central axis - sunken plaza which allowing an easy connectivity from Phase 1 to Phase 2 area.

Located next to beach side, this project aims to be one of landmarks in Kuantan which accommodates a hotel tower which maximizes seaview and city view, a tropical concept of commercial area, and a unique approach of villas with private swimming pools and giraffe feeding from room balconies. Stand on a land of 16-acres, this project aims to be completed in 2027.

CIDB Digital Fabrication Workshop
Final Thesis Project, Master of Architecture (2019/2020)

METAFABLAB is a digital fabrication workshop located within an institutional site of CIDB Complex, Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur. It aims to promote the possibilities of large scale 3D printing method for building construction and encouraging the use of 3D printing in the Malaysia construction industry.
This design proposal will also accommodates several training workshops to upskill our local labors by having hands-on experience of learning. Other than that, sales gallery will be provided to generate the return of investment for the building. As for the outcome of the design, METAFABLAB responds architecturally in terms of spatial functional, volume of spaces required for machines and suitability of programs for users, and also be able to respond contextually to surrounding environment.

A Celebration of (Modified) Agriculture 2050

GMO Skyfarm is an initiative to meet the increasing food demand and production by 2050. As years going, climate change has worsen and unpredictable, for the extreme temperature, frequent flooding and intense rainfall. Other than that, the environment has never been better but increasing number of pollution such as low water quality and soil degradation. In relation with local context, urban farming will combat the use of extensive use of chemicals and fertilizers, not only harm to the environment, but also harmful for people.
Urban farming has proven its benefits in its usage compared to traditional farming. Thus, the aim of this project is to support genetically modified food in order to produce more nutritious and healthier crops for people. The main programme would be research and development facilities in agriculture, specifically in gene-editing crops, as well as aiming to cultivate community to grow their own food and reconnect the relationship between human and nature.

JDT Parcel for Verdant Oasis 2070

Expecting JDT in 2070 will diversify its empire not just in sports, but widens into business, institutional, medical and education gradually, URBAN SANCTUARY as a healing center, envisions to improve and expand the current medical facilities of Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru with an injection of sports, wellness and other facilities as well as to respond with its interesting surrounding context such as Nursing College Hospital Sultanah Aminah and Sekolah Kanak-Kanak Spastik Johor.
Imagining 2070 generation is active, ambitious and selfcare, wellbeing facilities should be provided, as well as the importance of open education for people and promoting healthy lifestyle. The Urban Sanctuary covers few main programmes such as medical, education, residential, sports and commercial, to ensure it can sustain in relation with Verdant Oasis.
