"FM Key Club hosted a food drive for a couple weeks in which we collected specific food items requested by our local FM Food Pantry, including spaghetti, pasta sauce, raspberry preserves, peach preserves, and peanut butter. Members brought in hundreds of cans, especially thanks to a friendly competition set up by Key Club advisor Bradley Delans between his three Honors Precalculus classes. After collecting these items, members of our Key Club stayed after school to help sort, count, and package cans. This year's officers, and our three new incoming officers for next year, will be delivering the items to the Food Pantry after school on Wednesday, May 31st. This event was such a wonderful final project of the year because I saw such a huge effort from each of our members that resulted in a hugely successful food drive for a really important service in our community. Every day is a chance to change the world, and we in FM Key Club did our part this monthl The FM Food Pantry is a local food pantry that helps provide food items to those in need, within our community. Many people volunteer or donate food items there to benefit our community."
