The NYSCF Conference is an annual translational stem cell research conference at The Rockefeller University making a tremendous impact on advancing research by enabling a forum for scientific discussion and collaboration. As the premier translational stem cell research conference of its kind, for 2017, NYSCF is poised once again to create an enterprising platform for research. The conference hosts over 450 delegates, comprised of industry leaders including pharma/bio-tech, government & health officials, patient advocates, and leading science professionals including physicians, researchers,

clinical investigators, professors, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students. Our speakers are not only notable but also diverse across science and technology. Some of our dynamic speakers and renowned scientists have been Drs. Masayo Takahashi of the RIKEN Center of Developmental Biology, Feng Zhang of MIT, Sally Temple of The Neural Stem Cell Institute, and Chris Hempel, citizen scientist, Greg Simon of Cancer Moonshot Task Force, Philip Nelson of Google, and nobel prize recipients Drs. The New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) was founded in 2005 to accelerate cures for the major diseases of our time using stem cell research. NYSCF’s unique laboratory, which employs 45 full-time scientists, has set the agenda for innovative scientific research and has enabled some of the most important discoveries in the field; bringing us closer to better treatments and cures for a range of diseases. NYSCF has invested more than $150 million (funding generated primarily through private philanthropy) into stem cell research, resulting in numerous top scientific breakthroughs. NYSCF’s research has been named the #1 medical breakthrough of the year by Science, Nature, and twice by TIME magazine.
