About NYSCF The New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) Research Institute is accelerating cures and better treatments for the major diseases of our time through stem cell research. The NYSCF global community includes over 200 researchers at leading institutions worldwide, including 78 full-time scientists at the NYSCF Research Institute conducting cutting-edge stem cell research and pioneering new technologies. NYSCF sets the agenda for innovative scientific research and enables some of the most important discoveries in the field. NYSCF’s research has been named the #1 medical breakthrough of the year by Science and TIME magazines, and has been featured numerous times in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and leading publications worldwide.
About the NYSCF Conference The NYSCF Conference is the premier translational stem cell research conference, held annually at The Rockefeller University. For 15 years, the conference has fostered progress in stem cell research by providing a forum for scientific discussion and collaboration. The conference hosts over 500 participants, including pharma & biotech leaders, government & health officials, patient advocates, and leading science professionals including physicians, researchers, professors, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students. Our speakers are world-leading experts who represent various disciplines across biomedicine and technology. Previous speakers have included Nobel Laureate Dr. Shinya Yamanaka (Kyoto University), Dr. Hans Clevers (Hubrecht Institute), Dr. Christine Mummery (Leiden University), and Dr. Tony Coles (Cerevel Therapeutics). Recent presentations have featured stem cell therapies in clinical trials by Steven Goldman, MD, PhD (University of Rochester) and Rachael Pearson, PhD (University College London).
