Navy Today is a monthly magazine that celebrates the latest news about the Royal New Zealand Navy and its people. We cover operations and exercises, exploring how our Navy ships work and detail the lives of those who serve on our ships, on shore and in all parts of the world.
In this first edition for the year we celebrate the artwork of Whangarei Primary School and Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Pukemiro (Kaitaia), who won our Ahoy Waitangi competition and spent a day aboard HMNZS Wellington at Waitangi. We go behind the scenes for HMNZS Wellington at White Island, catch up on Aotearoa’s progress and introduce our highest-ranked female, Commodore Melissa Ross. We hope you enjoy our publication.
