NUMEDIC HAS INTRODUCED THE

latest addition to its growing pump range – the HP series of Progressive Cavity pumps. These positive displacement pumps produce high flow and pressure to operate very efficiently, requiring lower power input resulting in reduced operating costs.

“The Numedic team is focused on customer feedback and offering the most appropriate products to help ensure that our farmers achieve the outcomes they want both in performance, reliability and lower ongoing maintenance costs.

“We work with our customers based on what they want, providing ideas, offering our advice, expertise, and options. Adding a progressive cavity pump was a logical extension and will complement our very successful centrifugal effluent pump range.

“In some applications, a single-stage centrifugal pump is the best choice, in others it makes a lot of sense to go to a progressive cavity pump as it will provide high performance when needed or when power supply is limited,” Numedic’s managing director Andrew Millar says.

These pumps achieve high head pressure with smaller motors – either 5.5kW or 7.5kW, allowing these pumps to tackle longer mainlines, challenging terrains and running larger irrigators. You no longer need to have large power capacity to pump further afield, and you can extend your irrigation area without having to increase pump size. Numedic HP series pumps are fitted with pump protection equipment in case of any issues such as suction inlet blockage, unusual flow, pressure increase or decrease.

The technology behind these pumps allows ease of maintenance, extended service life and significantly reduced life cycle costs.
