YARDMASTER CONTINUES TO LEAD THE SECTOR
Above: A shore-mounted stirrer and pump system available from Yardmaster.
THE TREND TO SHORE-MOUNTED systems is well recognised in the dairy effluent industry.
It was driven initially by health and safety demands, but the benefits in ease and cost of maintenance are the main drivers. Reid & Harrison has continued to develop its range of in-house products and is regarded as a leader in the sector.
The latest version of its shore-mounted stirrer is a hybrid of two earlier models. Taking the ease of the bank-end fixing system and the advantages of a winch for lifting, this was combined with the relative simplicity of the original belt driven model.
The result is a stirrer that provides better end-user functionality and easy maintenance. The stirrers come in two length and two power options, which coupled with flexibility to alter height and angle, makes maximising coverage and effectiveness of stirring easy.
This stirrer complements the shorebasedYardmaster self-priming multi-stage pump which can be located from the same concrete pad, making access of all equipment from one spot.
The high performing multi-stage pump is ideal for cannon-style irrigation as well as for more challenging terrains. The pump has been designed for quick and modular parts so farmers only replace what is worn, rather than complete and expensive rotors. With a truly nationwide coverage, the trained Yardmaster Certified Dealer network is there to design and install your system with the Matamata factory providing product design, customised manufacture and certified effluent system design capability if needed.
Having a New Zealand based capability is a good option in these Covid-19 affected times.
