This stamp issue (the first of three issues commemorating 150 years of New Zealand stamps) depicts a selection of five stamps from the 1855 - 1905 period. The stamps depicted on this issue and the others to follow were selected by a panel nominated by the New Zealand Philatelic Federation. The stamps chosen represent some of the best of the three 50 year periods.
All will be revealed in the March stamp issue 2005.
