This stamp issue (the third of three issues commemorating 150 years of New Zealand stamps) depicts a selection of five stamps from the 1955 - 2005 period. The stamps depicted on this issue, as well as in the March and April issues, were selected by a panel nominated by the New Zealand Philatelic Federation. The stamps chosen represent some of the best of the three 50-year periods.

All will be revealed in the June stamp issue 2005.

CAF£ CULTURE The decades may have passed , but the cafe's place in everyday life has rarely wavered - perhaps because its form and function have always changed to reflect the society of the day.
