The Collectables business at NZ Post is the official issuing authority for New Zealand postage stamps and commemorative coins. It is responsible for the design, marketing, production and distribution of both postage stamps and legal tender collectable coins. There’s no doubt that stamps and coins reflect the full diversity of our lives and achievements as a nation. From landscapes and plants, to wildlife, natural wonders, sport, the arts, industry, architecture, famous figures and significant events, New Zealand stamps and coins have reflected and celebrated some of our greatest triumphs. Our team in Wellington develops the stamp and coin programmes, and manages their design and production. The products are then packaged and distributed to PostShops and directly to customers by the Collectables team in Whanganui.
