$4,680 ACORN DAY
Acorn Day, coinciding with Earth Day, is an annual event where a specific area on the Oakhill campus is selected for a beautification project. This year, the funds raised enabled us to install two shade structures and an electronic gate for entry to the Living Lab on the northeast corner of the main campus. Acorn Day was especially poignant this year. We celebrated the day with a special ceremony that included our 8th graders and Kindergartners who added additional wildflowers to the butterfly garden. They commemorated the project, walking hand and hand together. Donations included gifts made in memory of a loved one or in honor of a student or faculty member.
