The Residential ‘Big 8’

Working alongside the sports academies, we have a set of standards that we believe all residential students should adhere to and these form part of our Residential ‘Big 8’ behaviour process.

1. Serious behaviour situations such as bullying, threatening behaviour, theft alcohol or drug issues

2. Non accidental damage caused by inappropriate activity

3. Residential checks including leaving campus without permission, being out of your accommodation after night checks or nonresidential guests, boys/girls in bedrooms

4. Meal time communications

5. Persistent disruptive behaviours within residential accommodation, student lounge/ study areas or the café

6. Meeting academic deadlines and working to your full potential in all aspects of your study programme

7. Persistent failure to text or inform Residential team at morning and afternoon check when going off campus

8. Poor room hygiene

All violations carry both residential and/or academy sanctions.
