Life apart from studies

Life Apart from Studies Academics is over-ruling the lives of little children so much that they are burdened under the weight of books, bags and home-work. There is an idiom which says, “All work and no play, makes jack a dull boy.” So little fun is essentially required, like enrolling children for dancing, singing, martial arts, theatrics, etc. which gives them an upper hand over other children in terms that they get to learn a vocational course, which is not only entertaining and engaging, but it teaches them several other things. Like singing opens up the vocal chords, allowing the child to experience different pitches at which one can sing, learning of the various chords and tunes, increases the attention span and improves the listening capacity of the child, and works upon the stage fear aspect. Martial arts on the hand, is the art to combat for self-defence, and one needs a lot of patience, perseverance, and calmness to get to the crux of the learning of any form of martial arts. When a person learns martial arts, he or she is taught to control the anger within and not to attack unless it is a do or die situation. It also makes one tough to take things that come their way, both externally and internally. The next one being, dance, now dance is an art form that is learnt to express the different expressions and feelings within one. Dance is a very delicate art form, just like music and martial arts, even dance has different forms to it, like classical, retro, Bollywood, Hollywood, jazz, salsa, etc. Every dance form tends to work on some aspect of our body, making it flexible to carry out the dance performance with ease. Dance also helps a person to come over the stage fear crisis of their life. Then we have theatrics, which is on stage acting, acting is not an easy task and requires a lot of soul searching from within, opening u to new roles, experiences and taking up different challenges of life that merely come our way in every phase of our life, rather every day. One has to learn to display their emotions, before several people, to indulge in the character that you play and immerse yourself in the role completely to deliver uninterrupted and fine delivery of speech. Maybe, academics has everything parents ever want their child to be in, but these activities give a new role and motive to life, children learn to be expressive, understanding and many other aspects that further have an important role to play in one’s life.
