To access the OasisZone from home, or when not on the Oasis network, you will require:
Internet access. A computer (PC / Mac), laptop, tablet or smartphone. MFA Security token or mobile phone
The OasisZone can be accessed using a web browser (
).
From your web browser: Go to the Oasis community learning website: https://www.oasiscommunitylearning.org Click on OASISZONE.
Alternatively in your address bar type http://portal.oasiszone.org and press enter.
Enter your Oasis username (this will usually be the same as your primary Oasis email address e.g. john.smith@oasisuk.org). john.smith@oasisuk.org
Enter your password. Select ‘Sign in’.

You may be required to confirm your identify through a registered device. john.smith@oasisuk.org
This could be using your mobile phone.
Or MFA security token. For instructions on how to sign in using your MFA security token please see the guide ‘MFA Token User Guide’
Once your identity has been confirmed you will be taken to the OasisZone home page:
Click the waffle
icon to see OasisZone applications.
To see your personal files you have saved online click OneDrive. To use any Office application online through a web browser click the application you require here. To get access to your emails and calendar click Outlook.

Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel‌etc.) is available to download to your PC, laptop and mobile device. Skype for Business (different to the standard Skype for home) is also available to download and will allow you to contact colleagues within Oasis.
To download Office 365 or Skype for Business, from the OasisZone home page (http://portal.oasiszone.org) click on Apps. Click on Office download from O365 or Skype for Business.
Select the version of Office you require and select Install Office.
Or Select Skype for Business Basic (for Office 365) and select Install Skype.
A file will be downloaded. Follow the instructions to begin installing. Note: You can install Office on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones. Data Protection Alert! Remember not to save any Oasis information to a personal device better to use OneDrive or SharePoint site as appropriate.

Bromcom can be accessed from home by accessing the following website: www.bromcom.com
Select the login icon. Select Bromcom MIS.
Alternatively click on the following direct link: https://cloudmis.bromcom.com/Nucleus/Framework/Login.aspx
Enter your School ID, username and password. The username and password are the same that you use to log in to your computer at Oasis. If you are unsure of you School ID, please contact your Academy. You may be required to confirm your identify through a registered device. Please see page 2 for more details.
Should you require access to specialist Oasis applications such as PSF, these can be accessed using the Oasis Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
The Oasis remote desktop services enables you to open a new window from your PC or laptop and make use of another computer containing Oasis specialist programs. This is done by downloading and running a special application.

If you are using a Mac, before following the instructions below, please install ‘Microsoft Remote desktop 10’. This is a free application available from the Apple App store. To run Oasis remote desktop, from the OasisZone home page (http://portal.oasiszone.org) select Apps.
Select RDS – Remote desktop
A new page will open.

Select the ‘Click here’ link to download the remote desktop application
Once the program has been downloaded, click on the file to run the application

You will be asked to enter your username and password. In the username box enter “oasisnet\� followed by your username. e.g. oasisnet\jsmith Enter your password
Select OK.
A new window should now open allowing you to access the remote desktop.
Once you have finished working on the remote desktop:
Right click on the windows
icon.
Select Shutdown and sign out
Select Sign out
