Oaten’s and Sydney based Nest Designs have teamed up again to show you how to decorate your home, pull together all your inspirations and create a space you’ll love.

Emma is returning to Oaten’s with all the hot new trends as well as her top picks from the home and decorating trade shows for Autumn Winter 2015.

Before launching her own business, self confessed “design nerd” Emma Blomfield was already striving and thriving with her work in the online and interior design industries. Her initial inspiration for branching out on her own, was observing friends in their 20s and 30s struggling to afford the advice offered by interior design professionals on how to create fabulously stylish interiors in their first homes.

Passionate about establishing a different niche within the industry, Emma launched Nest Designs.

Focusing on e-decorating, Nest Designs is an interior decorating business that offers clients across Australia access to affordable, professional and inspired design ideas & solutions.

Emma is now taking her services on the road and meeting up with clients in rural areas to help them tackle the never-ending task of decorating their homes.

INTRODUCTION TO DECORATING WORKSHOP DURATION: AM session 2hrs // PM session 2 hours | COST: $149 per person CLASS CAPACITY: Max 12 people | DATE: 16th April 9.30am-11.30pm // 16th April 5.30-7.30pm Decorating your home is an exciting yet often daunting task. Simply moving into a new home is stressful enough, let alone thinking about how to decorate your brand new space. Re-decorating your existing space can be just as scary as moving too!

Emma Blomfield, the celebrated interior designer behind Nest Designs, will show you how to effortlessly put a look together, how to identify your style, plus general decorating 101 tips and tricks. You’ll walk away from the workshop with a mood board specifically created for a room in your home that you’d love to spruce up, and a head full of inspiration and ideas that can be put into action.

All materials for the workshop are provided, but please bring along any photos of your home or floor plans to discuss your specific decorating concerns with Emma. PLACES ARE LIMITED (so that Emma is able to spend as much one-on-one time with each of you as possible).

INTENSIVE DECORATING & RENOVATING WORKSHOP DURATION: 2 hours | COST: $149 per person | REQUIREMENTS: Introduction to Decorating Workshop CLASS CAPACITY: Max 12 people DATES: 17th April 9.30am - 11.30pm Emma Blomfield of Nest Designs is coming back to Oaten’s with a follow up to her Introduction to Decorating Workshop.

Learn how to refresh your lounge room for Winter with a live ‘Styling for Winter’ demonstration in the Oaten’s style pods. Emma will show in store how to quickly execute a stylish and afford able transformation for your room for Winter by updating your soft furnishings and how to work it in with what you already have.

Emma will be revealing in-depth Tips & Tricks for Renovating & Decorating your Bathroom, Kitchen, Open Plan Living, Master Bedroom, Kids Rooms, Spare Room, Office, as well as how to Select Finishes & Colours to achieve your desired look.

We will have Q&A time with Emma and be working up more specific Mood boards.

This workshop is for a maximum of 12 people only, so Emma can spend more one-on-one time with each person. To tailor the classes specifically to the needs of the workshop attendees a survey will be sent to you via email to answer.
