MOMATO KETCHUP THAT IS MOMMADE
Aim To redesign the packaging, label and branding of processed food item – Ketchup in the case, in such a way that it will have a sarcastic take on the package design policies of existing food companies. Sarcasm on false promises, incentives, hidden facts and misleading information. The project outcome was to design packaging and label which would communicate all relevant information to the user in an ideal and unbiased manner.
The form was designed to resemble real tomatoes to give a touch of sarcasm to the fake promises ketchup companies make for the purpose of marketing. The outer packaging is an origami box built in paper to abstract the tomato.

Label Design
Batter graphical representation of the true contents to deliver complete information to the consumer Brand Philosophy – Ketchup that is made with real tomatoes and has no added preservatives, hence the ketchup lasts only for a week on account of natural preservatives added.
Bottle Design
Made in glass to facilitate reuse after the contents are over. Momato also provides refill packs. The glass bottle also increases the overall desirability of the product.
