In looking at how hypothetical residents of the neighborhood might use the area throughout a 24-hour period, multiple conditions and scenarios arise. Each zone is characterized by certain hours where the activity increases, and the points where peak activity levels from two zones intersect creates a spike in threshold crossings. Times of the day where characters might cross paths are also noted.

Thresholds can be large, or barely even noticeable. By narrowing our field of vision to one specific zone, it becomes clear that there are threshdolds of varying scales within each zone, or in this case specifically, an apartment complex. Such miniscule thresholds add up to reveal degrees of separation between individual rooms, different apartment units, and between what is inside the building and what exists beyond these borders.
