DISCOVER YOURSELF WITH MENTAL HEALTH The purpose of this group is to create a supporting environment for those who struggle with mental health issues and other relative personal problems; where everyone will be able to relate and interact—while having the security and necessary support—with the liberty to speak freely amongst one another, addressing their particular concerns in unraveling the stigmatic scrutiny shadowing mental health. GAMING ANIME MANGA ASSOCIATION (GAMA) GAMA is comprised of like-minded individuals with an interest in the culture surrounding video games, Japanese animé and manga. GENESIS Genesis is a Korean Christian group affiliated with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Toronto, which exists to become a bridge that connects spirituality and artistic practice within the context of Jesus Christ’s teaching. Through spiritual and practical activities, such as daily meditation, summer short-term mission, presentations and exhibitions, believers at OCAD are encouraged to rise up for the truth and express it with the passion. HONG KONG CLUB (HKC) Hong Kong Club is a student organization at OCAD U run by Hong Kong students. OCAD BIKE Toronto has a very strong cycle culture and OCAD Bike exists to educate about urban cycling, organize group bike rides, touring trips and social gatherings, while supporting and building a cycling culture at OCAD University. Future initiatives include bike clinics where students assist each other with bike repairs, and community-shared bikes. OCAD CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP (OCF) The OCF cultivates spiritual growth and fosters community through prayer meetings, community meals, and art discussion groups. An affiliation with the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada allows members to participate in events such as retreats, seminars and conferences. OCAD U PERFORMANCE ART COLLECTIVE A group comprised of enthusiastic individuals who share an interest within the performative arts.
