Our staff and partners are offering enrichment camps designed around a wide variety of interests including sports, music, engineering, rocketry, and even YouTube streaming! Camps on Campus 2022 continues to offer courses for online classes through our partners at Black Rocket Productions, offcampus opportunities at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, and features the return of many of your favorite camp sessions inperson with our OCC staff on our main campus. Embark on an EPIC adventure in virtual reality! In this cutting-edge class, learn the foundations of VR design by creating your own virtual worlds, exploring simulated environments, crafting 3D experiences, and learning basic programming concepts. At the end of the week, take home your first cardboard VR headset to show friends and family the new worlds you created. VR projects can be viewed on a website or mobile device. We provide an intense performance-based music-making experience focused on master classes, guided practice, and ensemble experience. Participate in group classes in music theory and history, exploring great composers and their masterworks while covering concepts essential for developing your own musicianship. Ever been curious about how an iPhone recognizes your face or how you are “tagged” in photos? How new types of antibiotics are discovered that can defeat resistant strains of bacteria? Artificial Intelligence makes these things possible! Based on Intel’s AI for Workforce Program and taught by Ocean County College faculty, this camp will introduce you to the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence and its exciting applications while exploring how AI is used in machine learning and neural networks. Examine the impact that AI has in the world, our daily lives, and how it may change the way jobs function in the future through fun and immersive hands-on STEM activities. Register now!

Cost: $225 • Presented by the OCC Computer Science Department Enjoy five days of fun, highly interactive activities using campus cybersecurity curriculum and facilities led by college faculty who are experienced cybersecurity and telecom professionals. Develop an improved cybersecurity posture for your devices, an elevated awareness of cybersecurity principles and concepts, and exposure to the disciplines and career opportunities for information security professionals. The camp serves as an inroad to higher education and a career pathway for high school students who may otherwise be unfamiliar with the myriad of opportunities in cybersecurity, both academic and professional. Camp Changes & Cancellations

Ocean County College reserves the right to cancel a camp entirely or to change its time, location, or instructor. In the event a camp is changed, campers’ parent/guardian will be notified via email or phone call. In the event of cancellation, all registered campers will be issued a full refund.

All in-person camp programs will follow safety protocols recommended for educational and enrichment programs that have been set in place by Ocean County College, local health department, and state guidelines. The Camps on Campus programming offers a variety of summer camps for youth in Ocean County College’s barrier-free environment. As guided by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), inclusion services and supports are available to those who are differently abled. Refund and Exchange Policy

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily updated our Exchange Policy for those ill or exposed. If you are not feeling well, or have recently been exposed to, or are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to camp. Email us at summercamps@ocean.edu to notify us that your party will not be joining us due to illness. We will reply within 24 business hours to discuss an exchange. We will not be able to grant an exchange if you notify us after the camp session that you did not attend.
