THE FRAME HOUSE
The Frame House, a full service custom picture frame shop located in South Oceanside, at 1824 S. Coast Hwy, has been an operational full–service frame shop and gallery since 1973. Its owner Scott took it over and has put his own touch into the shop. Scott, with his wife Kim and their two daughters, Samantha and Melissa, have been working on this project for the last two years hoping to get everything just right for their clients and consumers. The Frame House offers over a 1000 different styles of moldings and most turnaround times are only a few days to five days for most pieces. He carries moldings from several of the well known vendors such as Roma, Universal, Larson-Juhl, Nielson and several others, if The Frame House doesn’t have it, they can get it for you. Just take a look through their catalogs and take your pick. Their location has the ability for a dry mount and a wet mount which ever suits your work without waiting for an outside vendor. They have a wide variety of mat boards and moldings in stock and on hand for quick jobs. They can chop to order and join/re-join frames if needed and most repairs can be done in just a couple of days. The shop gives several if not unlimited options to increase the beauty and preservation of your artwork. They carry a wide variety of prints as well as a wide range of styles of framed art and collectibles and are constantly updating their collection. The walls are draped with one of a kinds as well as signed originals and limited prints. The Active Lifestyles/Senior Expo
The Active Lifestyles/Senior Expo will be held Thursday, October 14th from 9 am to 1 pm. This event provides an opportunity for local and regional health-related businesses to promote their products and services and to reach a new audience of potential patients, clients and customers. Attendees can visit a wide variety of healthcare bases businesses, non-profits and senior organizations. In addition, a variety of free health-related screenings, giveaways and consultations will be featured throughout the event. Located in the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza, the Active Lifestyles/Senior Expo runs concurrently with the popular Downtown Farmer’s Market. The event is FREE to the public and a great way to receive important information, meet a new health specialist and learn more about healthy and senior living.
