fúinn about us Bunaíodh Glór Dhún Geimhin naoi mbliain ó shin leis an Ghaeilge agus cultúr na nGael a chur chun cinn sa phobal agus le bheith ag cur le athbheochan an cheantair. An fhís atá againn ná go bhfásfaidh an eagraíocht go nadúrtha i gcomhpháirtíocht leis an phobal le go mbeidh todhchaí gheal agus bheo ag cultúr,ealaíona agus oidhreacht na háite. Bronnadh cupla duais náisiúnta ar Ghlór Dhún Geimhin as ucht an obair óige a dhéanann muid agus as an pháirtnéireacht trasphobail atá againn le pobal Shlèite ar oileán Sgitheanach. Oibríonn muid le scoileanna áitiúla, grúpaí pobail, Glór Léim an Mhadaidh, An Carn agus Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin. Tá muid ag cur Cultúrlann ar bun a bheas lárnach i bhfás agus i bhforbairt na Gaeilge, an cheoil agus na nEalaíon sa phobal seo. Glór Dhún Geimhin was established nine years ago to develop culture and language in our community and to contribute to the regeneration of the local area. Our vision is to grow organically to ensure a bright and vibrant future for our local culture, arts and heritage. We have achieved recognition at the National Glór na nGael Awards for youth work and cross community work with the Slèite Isle of Skye group. We work in partnership with local schools, community groups as well as Glór Léim an Mhadaidh, Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin and An Carn. We are now in the process of developing our own Cultúrlann which will facilitate the future growth of language, music and arts in this community.
