…as well as improve their data collection and monitoring efforts
What gets measured gets managed, but, for instance:
▪ Only 12 OECD countries collect data on whether recommendations by internal auditors are followed.
▪ Only 9 OCDE countries, including those with mandatory cooling-off periods, track the post-employment activities of senior public office holders, making it difficult to ensure compliance with revolving door rules.
