OEM has recently signed an agreement with West Control Solutions to become their key national distribution partner. The company manufacture a wide range of temperature and process controller products under the market leading brand names of CAL, West and PMA. The West brand is renowned throughout Europe for competitive, state-of-the-art, single loop and multi-loop temperature controllers. They were at the forefront in developing microprocessor based controllers and self-tune algorithms. The Cal brand was established many years ago and has set standards in digital temperature control. They were the first to produce a digital controller in the 1/16th DIN (48x48mm) package to be followed by the first 1/32nd DIN (24x48mm) controller.

No distance too far for Takex Photosensors The DLS is a rugged photosensor with a range of up to 2 metres and is ideal for a wide variety of applications. New design S4J relay socket Releco have redesigned their S4B relay socket and replaced it with a new version called S4J.
The bracket connection gives the socket a high reliability
This new socket has improved connection points that offer even greater reliability and is moulded from a high quality Lexon plastic. The physical and connection aspects remain the same as the previous version. The socket is compatible with all Releco C4 relays and the standard version is a 4 pole changeover with 10A @ 250V rated contacts. Other relay options in this family include a latching version and contacts rated for switching higher levels of DC voltage.

Space saving DC UPS with integrated battery The DC UPS range from Puls has been expanded to include a new slimline unit with built-in battery that is only 123mm wide!. Do your light-curtains comply with the latest safety standards? In 2010 many important changes will be introduced concerning the regulations on safety of machinery and the relevant international standards. These changes particularly concern the family of standards under the umbrella of ISO 13849, IEC 61508 and IEC 62061 which have been published in recent years along with the new machinery directive 2006/42/EC which will come into force on 29th December 2009. The new standards concentrate on the concept of ‘functional safety’ of safety related control systems for machinery and protection devices. These include PLs (Performance Levels) and SILs (Safety Integrity Levels). PL and SIL run alongside and in many ways replace the now familiar concept of category of ‘Safety Categories’ featured in the ‘old’ EN954-1.

Compact stainless steel pressure switch Suco can now offer a stainless steel body option for their popular two pin style pressure switch. Beacons have improved IP rating The complete range of large diameter 120mm beacons from Auer now have an improved IP rating thanks to a new cellular rubber gasket.
