In a total isolation (dry) solenoid valve, fluid only touches the valve body and the separation lever/ diaphragm. This protects the fluid from metallic contamination and excessive temperature changes.

M5 to 2” BSP and NPT thread forms, and is complemented by both standard and latching coil designs with WRAS approval on many models.

Magnatrol’s degreasing and black light testing facility also allows adapted valves to be suitable for cryogenic fluids including liquid oxygen (-297°F), liquid argon (-303°F) and liquid nitrogen (-320°F). Other specialities include valves for brine, sandy well water and gritty coolant. Clark Cooper are the specialist adaptation arm of the Magnatrol Valve Corporation and produce ¼” to 2” valves operating up to pressures of 15,000 psi. HYGIENIC ACTUATION & VALVE SOLUTIONS Guth Ventiltechnik GmbH have been producing high-quality stainless steel process components for more than 150 years. They are now one of the market leaders in the production and supply of hygienic ball and butterfly valves in control automation packages. Specialist Guth valves include: Double butterfly valves with two valve discs (separated by a leakage space) which offer extra safety in areas where contamination prevention is critical. Double-seat valves among the most modern, leak-proof valves on the market. Two independently controllable valve plates with non-pressurised leakage discharge prevent incompatible process media from mixing. Additional automation options include sensor monitoring via PLC, ASi-BUS or IO-Link control head to emergency-stop function and valve position display. ATEX versions are also available for gas and dust areas (Zones 1/21 and 2/22). Valpes quarter-turn and multi-turn electric actuators are available from 10Nm to 2,400Nm.
Actuators from 15Nm to 610,000Nm (with gearbox) are available in quarter turn, multi turn, modulating or failsafe options. Control features include integral local control, Intelli+ communication, modulation and positioning technology, ESD systems and interfacing fieldbus communication systems.
Control voltage ranges are available from 12vDC to 400/3/50Hz and, by incorporating Valpes’ multi-voltage sensing technology, most voltages in between! On-off design, battery failsafe, positioning (0-10v, 0-20mA and 4-20mA) and Bluetooth functionality (via the Axmart app) are available with most model types. PNEUMATIC ACTUATION PNEUMATIC ACTUATORS The Omal standard hard anodised aluminium Scotch yoke, double acting and spring return quarter-turn pneumatic actuators are available with output torques from 8Nm to 10,000Nm. All actuators have output mounting flanges according to EN ISO 5211, NAMUR interface and end of travel adjustment. Stainless steel (cast and from bar), carbon steel and heavy duty carbon steel actuators provide increased torque outputs to 30,000Nm. Upgrade options of special coatings and internal seals are available to cover extremes of working conditions. ATEX versions conforming with directive 2014/34/EU are also available. The new Rackon range uses a rack and pinion design. Double acting and spring return actuators with torques up to 480Nm provide a solution for constant torque drive applications with the security of SIL3 certification. Omal special design actuators include: two stage actuation, epoxy coating, integrated handwheel, low/high temperature models and low pressure control actuators.

PNEUMATIC VALVE AUTOMATION PNEUMATIC VALVES The Omal Angle seat piston valve range has been designed to minimise head loss and maximise media flow through the valve. Pneumatic functionality is available in Double Acting versions, Spring Return Normally Closed (from above and below the plug) and Spring Return Normally Open from below the plug. Bodies are available in either brass and stainless steel and from 3/8” to 2”. Connections are supplied in threaded, weld, clamp ends and PN16 flanges. The VIP coaxial brass bodied valve is available in both pneumatically controlled Double Acting and Spring Return Normally Closed and Normally Open models and in sizes ranging from 3/8” to 2”. VIP valves can be fitted in any mounting position and are available with seals in NBR, FKM or EPDM to suit a range of flow media. Working pressures of 10 bar apply to the standard versions. The VIP EVO valve is the next generation of the standard VIP valve. The VIP Evo benefits from all the original functionality and operating features of the original VIP, light-weight compact design, low air consumption, long service life and fast operating speed but now has the added bonus of enhanced working pressure of 40 bar. All VIP and EVO versions are available with Namur interface for direct solenoid valve mounting and limit switches for travel indication and feedback. Versions for vacuum, oxygen service and ATEX configuration are available on request.
