Financial Performance and Business Operations
• Delivered exceptional financial performance, achieved an operating surplus of $1.64 million (14% over budget) • Partnered with 125 sponsors in 2021; 10% of them were new OESA supporters.

Membership and Council Operations
• Grew membership by nine member companies (finished the year with 498 member companies) • Implemented a standard “on-boarding” process for new members with multiple touchpoints • Merged Enterprise Leadership Council (ELC) into the CEO
Council for more effective council management • Coordinated the monthly CEO “small group” forum with
Foley & Lardner and Riveron • Launched Operations and Plant Managers Council and
MEMA-wide DEI Council to reach new audiences
• Added “Sustainability” to the Environment, Health and
Safety Council – now EHSS Council – in response to the marketplace
Thought Leadership and Member Resources
• Launched DEI Barometer to understand DEI sentiments, issues and plans within the industry • Conducted 37 member-exclusive surveys on critical industry issues including the quarterly Supplier Barometer • Delivered over 50 market presentations to supplier executives and industry stakeholders • Expanded association impact by creating 26 thought leadership content pieces including 16 OESA Supplier
Insights videos • Launched the OESA Automotive Insiders hosted by Jason
Stein – a weekly industry podcast on Spotify and other digital platforms
Advocacy Initiatives
• Responded to rapidly changing regulations with relevant and timely member programming • Held many government advocacy meetings on Capitol Hill and NHTSA, EPA, FTC, and California’s ARB to advocate member issues
• Conducted bi-weekly CEO Council updates and industry update meetings to provide timely information on issues in
Washington, D.C. that impact OESA members • Conducted regular meetings with the American Automotive
Policy Council, GM, Ford and Stellantis to work on semiconductor crisis
Strategic Planning
• Engaged the Bostrom consulting firm to work with OESA Senior Team on alternative business and revenue models
• Integrated the Bostrom findings into OESA’s 5-year strategic plan, including action items for 2022 and beyond
OEM Relationships
• Continued participation on the Ford, General Motors, and
Nissan Supplier Councils • Participated on General Motors sub-council groups:
Supply Chain Resiliency and Supplier Inclusion • Hosted 7 OEM town hall meetings (General Motors, Ford,
Honda, Lordstown Motors, Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen) • Hosted first-time Zoox Matchmaker Event
• Welcomed Canoo as first-time presenter for the Warranty
Management Council • Held event on Terms and Conditions revisions for Ford and
Toyota

• Garnered a 96% delivery rate of all event promotion emails • Increased the number of Twitter followers by 4% • Increased the number of LinkedIn followers by 20%
