OET for Nursing Abroad • Occupational English Test (OET) is an English language proficiency test for trained health professionals from overseas who wish to work or study their profession in Australia or New Zealand, Singapore. • This profession specific test is carried out 10 times a year around the world over 40 venues, mostly in Oceania and Asia. • However like all overseas opportunities, it is wise to make full investigations upon your working and living arrangements so you get a nasty surprise when showing up for your first day of work. • OET is available for the following 12 professions: dentistry, dietetics, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, podiatry, radiography, speech pathology, and veterinary science.
