Corporate Communications at BELMONT UNIVERSITY

The Corporate Communications program prepares students to think strategically and creatively about communications in various types of organizations and institutions. Students develop a repertoire of skills that include public speaking, interviewing, writing and managing teams. They also will make ethical judgments about organizational issues and crises, analyze and tackle complex organizational problems, and utilize social media in the 21st Century.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE? INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Practical application of classroom instruction is integral to a quality education for corporate communications majors and minors. From corporations and non-profits to agencies and companies on Music Row and Capitol Hill, students apply their communications skills in the real world as part of their academic experience. Students can jump start their careers or simply learn more about what kind of careers interest them. Internships are available throughout Nashville and across the nation. Belmont students have interned with: Big Machine Records, The Climate Project, Country Music Television, The District Attorney’s Office, Girl Scouts of America, The Governor’s Office, Make A Wish Foundation, News Channel 5 and many more organizations.
