STUDY BUSINESS IN A CITY WHERE BUSINESS IS BOOMING
You cannot talk about Belmont and The Massey College of Business without highlighting the city we call home…Nashville! Nashville is an incredible city, and not only because of the numerous opportunities for entertainment and fun, but also the possibilities for your career. Nashville is an “It” city, and with over 40,000 businesses in the region, it’s no surprise the Wall Street Journal named us #2 Best Job Market in America.
Nashville’s top industries continue to grow and now include banking & finance, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, supply chain and technology.
As new businesses continue to move to Nashville, they look for AACSB International-accredited business schools to align with. Massey is part of an elite group of institutions, less than six percent of the world’s business schools, to hold business accreditation from AACSB International. Even more impressive, only 192 institutions in the world have earned the additional AACSB accounting accreditation. Our faculty collaborates with local business leaders to ensure our accredited curriculum remains relevant and marketable to employers looking to hire Massey students and alumni.

ALUMNI PERSPECTIVES
Many of our alumni call Nashville home, but the global growth of Nashville companies and expanding job opportunities in our Career Development Center have our alumni moving and working around the globe.
VIN PHAN, BBA, MA cc Partner,
Healthcare Transaction Advisory Services, BDO“I really benefited from the quality of the professors, especially because they all had industry experience, in addition to academic pedigrees. And, they took an interest in me both professionally and personally. They really get to know students and genuinely want them to succeed. The small class sizes were also great. You get to build really strong, lasting relationships with everyone. Massey’s MAcc program really prepared me for the CPA exams and the professional world. And as Massey continues to grow, I’m happy that my network continues to expand.”
JENNIFER PAGLIARA, PMBA Executive Vice President and Financial Advisor, CapWealth“My career really started to move forward after I got my MBA. Before that, I worked mostly behind the scenes, gaining valuable experience in the operations side of the firm. But when I got my MBA, I know that the leaders of my firm had more confidence in me, and I was moved up to the client-facing side of the firm, which is where I always wanted to be.
The school has grown so much over the years, and it’s amazing to be part of this flourishing community, and Massey alumni are very involved in Nashville. I can proudly say I’m a Massey alum at almost any community event and I will meet fellow alums. The people—classmates, faculty and alums really make the program incredible.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed several classes during my time at Massey. The most memorable ones were International Business with Dr. Marieta Velikova and Global Cross-Cultural Business Communication by Dr. Jeff Overby. Both classes had a great focus on the international aspect of business and were wonderful to be a part of.”
BELIZ LILA OZKAZANC, PMBA UX Designer at aanmelder.nl, Amsterdam, Netherlands ED GLYNN,M.D., HCMBA
Chief Health Information Officer, HCA Healthcare Physician Services“An MBA is a crucial tool for any executive in today’s healthcare industry. Belmont’s dedication to a dynamic class experience, a concentrated focus in healthcare and utilization of its wealth of connections in the Nashville healthcare industry made The Massey College of Business an easy first choice decision for me.”
HARRY ALLEN, BBA, PMBA
Co-founder & Chief Relationship Officer, Studio Bank“For me, I knew that I needed an MBA program that had a flexible schedule while I worked full-time. I also wanted high quality instruction from professors who brought real-world experiences to the classroom. Not only did I find this in Massey’s Professional MBA program, but I also learned from my peers who brought their unique experiences to every class. Even today, years after completing the program, I frequently reach out to my fellow alumni to share ideas and gain insight. A few of them have even joined me as investors in my company. The learning was great, and I apply what I learned every day. But my ongoing relationships with professors and alumni are what I value most. I’m so glad that I earned a Massey MBA!”
KENDALL (SOWELL) PETERS, AMBA Manager, Sales Programs, MuleSoft
“Even though I recently graduated, I can already see the worth of the Accelerated MBA experience. From the individualized attention and commitment shown by each of our professors, to the meticulous arrangement of curricula, this accelerated program set us up for success from day one. It also allowed me to have hands-on learning interactions in cross-cultural, dynamic environments. Further, the program always challenged me to bring critical and insightful discussions to the classroom. Now as an alum, I’ve seen my ability to apply these learnings in both my professional and personal life because of the attentiveness the Accelerated MBA taught me. As a young graduate, I’ve jump-started my career on a path of excellence and success.”

CORPORATE PARTNERS PROGRAM & EMPLOYER DIRECT PAY
Employer tuition assistance is an agreement between you and your employer. If your employer is reimbursing you after your courses are complete each semester, you are financially responsible to pay for courses before the semester begins. You can pay or use loans to get started, then you can roll your reimbursement checks into the future semesters. If your employer will pay your tuition directly to Belmont, Student Financial Services needs employer authorization to agree to Belmont’s payment terms.
Further, if your employer offers any form of tuition assistance, The Massey
College offers matching funds up to 20% off tuition in spring and fall (up to four semesters total) through our Corporate Partners Program (CPP) for MBA programs. Corporate Partners discounts are not applied in summer.
INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLANS
Belmont, in partnership with Nelnet, offers an interest-free payment plan to all current and admitted students to assist with the cost of attendance. Semester payment plans are available for a nominal fee. The payment plan is not a loan, does not require a credit check and does not incur interest charges.
STAFFORD STUDENT LOANS
Graduate students who are U.S. citizens are eligible to apply for the Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan programs, which are awarded without regard to financial need. Interest accrues from the time the loan is disbursed until it is paid in full. The maximum loan is $20,500 per academic year. If you are using Stafford Loans to pay any portion of your tuition, you should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at the time of application, or at least six weeks before classes begin. To determine eligibility requirements for student loans and demonstrated need for scholarships, submit the FAFSA and request that Belmont University receive a copy of the analysis. You may file the FAFSA online at www.studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
