“My Belmont experience has been so full and beautiful in so many ways. I get to wake up every day to a beautiful, safe on-campus residence full of some of my dearest friends. I get to collaborate with professors who know my name and care about my wellbeing to foster an unmatched, well-rounded nursing education. Even though I am not in a creative major, I get to use my creative talents all the time because of Belmont’s rich artistic culture. I get to ride a Ferris Wheel on our main lawn on a random Wednesday because my administration cares about my mental health. It all boils down to the community.”

Get Involved EXPLORE ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES

At Belmont, we create pathways and opportunities to help students get the most out of the college experience. College isn’t just about studying hard and getting a degree. It’s also about exploring your passions, making connections and having the time of your life. There are so many ways to get involved, from student organizations, to our philanthropically minded Fraternity and Sorority Life community, to the Showcase Series, to countless leadership experiences. We are committed to providing endless opportunities for students to jump in and join the fun.

The Office of HOPE, UNITY & BELONGING

Belmont is committed to fostering an environment of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging across our community. You’ll find a diverse and thriving campus — an inclusive campus culture — one where individuals from all backgrounds, perspectives and identities are valued and respected.

The Office of Hope, Unity and Belonging (The HUB), our centralized diversity office, carries out the university’s desire for all community members to experience a meaningful and authentic sense of connection. We prioritize creating equitable opportunities for all people and encourage open dialogue where we can all be our authentic selves and contribute to our vibrant community.

BE WELL BU

Be Well BU works with all programs and services across campus to help students learn practices that lead to better health and well-being and identify ways of living that reflect a knowledge of their life’s purpose.

Imagine your overall wellness as a big puzzle made up of 10 pieces. Each piece represents a different aspect of your life that contributes to how well you feel and how happy you are. Here’s what each piece of the puzzle represents:

PHYSICAL | EMOTIONAL | INTELLECTUAL | SERVICE SOCIAL (INTERPERSONAL) | CULTURAL | SPIRITUAL ENVIRONMENTAL | FINANCIAL | OCCUPATIONAL

By championing this integrative approach, Belmont fosters a culture where you can flourish – mind, body and spirit.

As a student, you’ll have access to a wealth of resources, learning opportunities and holistic support. Our goal is to empower you to cultivate your own personal wellness values that will transform and equip you to thrive at Belmont and beyond.

Belmont student athletes are leaders in their chosen sport, through classroom accomplishments and community service. It’s easy to be a fan of these teams, and with the Curb Event Center, our new tennis facility and nearby E.S. Rose Park serving as home turf for most of our sports, it’s a breeze to check out a game any time of year.
