After recently installing a 250-kilowatt system made up of 1,042 solar panels on the roof of our main headquarters in Holly Springs, North Carolina, we are now carbon-neutral. We are certified by the state as a Renewable Energy Facility. We have made large strides in our efforts to offer more ecofriendly products with sponsored certification like the Greenguard速 Certification for Children & Schools. We've created a complete line of products designed to the strictest green specifications. Incorporating reusable, recyclable and recycled materials into the products we manufacture is a rewarding privilege that we will continue to appreciate. Now "being green" is just a fact of life and one that OFM takes very seriously, not just with talk, but with actions. From the top of our roof to the inside of our building, OFM has continuously strived to have as little impact on the environment as possible. As we continue to grow, so does our focus on helping the environment. There are plans to double the size of our Solar Array in the year 2012 which will help the State of North Carolina expand it’s grid by gaining additional energy from a renewable source. When we look at where we started, out of the third floor of my family’s house, to where we are now, we are constantly striving to become a bigger part of the larger society around us. To be a company that people can look to as early adopters of the “green” movement, we practice what we preach.
