Hey there Mama! We are Ricky and Evan. We want to thank you for taking the time to learn about us and are excited that we get to share our profile with you! It means a lot to us that you are considering our family when thinking about a potential home for your child. We know that this can be a difficult decision, and hope that our profile gives you a glimpse of the love, family and community that we hope to share with our future child. We are both very excited to become parents, and welcome a child into our home. We talked about our dream of having a family very early on in our relationship. This has always been something that is extremely important to us. We both knew that adoption was the way we wanted to go when we were ready to start a family together. We feel that adoption gives us the opportunity to provide a child with a safe, loving, and joyful home, and hope this can help provide you with a little assurance that someone is willing to work so hard for your child, before even getting to meet you or them. We already really respect you for being able to make such a difficult decision. We know that you want what is best for your baby, and hope that the next few pages show you that we share that goal with you and plan to do everything in our power to raise an incredible and strong individual!
Although we were both raised in Phoenix, AZ and only a handful of miles from each other, we didn’t cross paths until later in life. We met like many couples do now, online via OkCupid, and had an instant connection. After about three years of dating, Evan proposed and we were married on March 7th, 2020. We are both very close with our families and always knew we wanted a family of our own. We feel like we are in the right place now, where we can be successful and provide a safe and loving home for a family of our own.

Spend Quality time at the Family Cabin! Evan’s family has a cabin up in the mountains! We use it to get away on weekends when the summer heat in the valley is unbearable. From hikes in the forest...to playing in the creek...to annual photos in front of that infamous Pink Car, Evan has many fond memories of the summers he spent there as a kid! This is a family tradition that we are looking forward sharing with the next generation!

Have you ever met someone who you never get tired of? Who when you had a rough day… they help it all melt away? Evan is that person for me and many others around him. He understands how those around him are feeling, and he is always looking for ways to keep them smiling. I always told myself that I would only decide to raise children if I knew that they could have a safe and healthy life. Evan is a big part of making me feel like it's time! He will be the type of father who makes his child feel supported, makes sure they eat their veggies, encourages them to participate in the things they are passionate about and helps them to find success in anything they put their mind to! A home with Evan is like waking up and knowing today is going to be a good day… like knowing you can always count on someone to support you… like always having a shoulder to lean on… And always knowing dinner is going to be super tasty! A home with Evan is really what makes our house a home!

Ricky is a kind, caring, and fun-loving man who will make a wonderful dad. Children seem drawn to him, and in fact our friends have started calling him the baby whisperer because no one seems to be able to calm down a crying baby like Ricky! Ricky loves to goof around, singing made up silly songs and doing dances to entertain kids or even just our dogs. Ricky also loves the outdoors, whether it’s going on hikes or working on our backyard garden, and can’t wait to teach a child all the fun and interesting plant facts he knows. Did you know the Tree of Heaven leaves smell like graham crackers? I sure didn’t until I met Ricky. One of Ricky’s biggest personal values is the importance of finding your passion, and already talks about all the ways he can support and encourage our kids in finding theirs, whether that means taking them to recitals, coaching their sports team, or just finding the right book to spark their interest. Our family’s wellbeing will always be Ricky’s top priority.

My family is very close, with my parents living only a few miles away. We see them pretty often for Sunday dinners or swimming in the backyard. I have one younger brother who just moved back from Tucson, Where he went to pharmacy school. My parents are very excited to be grandparents! We have many family traditions that we are looking forward to sharing, from our annual Christmas trivial pursuit competition to summer trips to the family cabin.

My parents believe that, although you might grow older, you don't ever have to grow up! And that is just one reason I think they are going to be amazing grandparents. They are strong, supportive individuals who are enthusiastic about family and their soon to be grandbaby! On a Saturday, you might find us at my family’s house, having a cookout or ordering pizza, and just hanging out with some music. We enjoy spending spending quality time, and often hang out with both of our families together.
