For more information about the Oglesby Union please visit: http://union.fsu.edu/ THE POSITION The Student Activities Center Graduate Assistant (GA) for Programming is a position focused on program planning and development, advising students, budget management, risk management, collaboration with other University staff, and being a resource for students. Advising areas include working with the university’s primary programming board (Union Productions), management of Club Downunder (UP’s live entertainment venue), and other major events and activities. Events include concerts, comedians, special events, cultural events, lectures, and student organization co-sponsorships. This position is a key part of the Student Activities Center team and is also responsible for general student activities duties as assigned. The qualified candidate will enjoy working with a wide variety of students and student programs. Applicants should be outgoing, positive, articulate, and flexible. Advising and organizational skills will be keys to success. Knowledge of leadership theories and skills preferred.
